Ryan Perera: A Tale of Ambition and Achievement in Medicine
Ryan Perera is a motivated first-year medical student currently attending Parma University Italy. Originally from St. Joseph’s College in Colombo 10, Ryan distinguished himself as the Assistant Head Prefect during his time there. Inspired by his mother’s career as a doctor, Ryan set his sights on pursuing medicine, leading him to explore educational opportunities in Italy. Upon researching study options, Ryan discovered SMIT ACADEMY, where he learned that several of his former schoolmates were successfully studying in Italy with SMIT ACADEMY support. Encouraged by these connections and after several telephone conversations, Ryan visited SMIT ACADEMY with his mother. Following a meeting with academy representatives, Ryan felt confident about preparing for the IMAT (International Medical Admission Test) under our academy guidance. After enrolling at SMIT ACADEMY, Ryan diligently completed IMAT model papers and actively participated in class activities. His dedication and preparedness were evident during the exam, as Ryan achieved excellent marks, securing admission to Parma University. Ryan is described as friendly and helpful, exhibiting qualities that bode well for his future as a doctor. With his strong academic foundation, supportive family, and guidance from SMIT ACADEMY, Ryan is poised for a successful medical career.
