Nethmi is a determined and ambitious first-year medical student at Parma University in Italy. Her educational journey began at Carmel Girls' National College Chilaw. Although she was born in Rome, Italy, her parents opted to provide her education in Sri Lanka. Despite facing challenges, such as losing her resident permit in Italy while studying in Sri Lanka, Nethmi remained resolute in her desire to pursue her higer studies in Italy.
Nethmi's father, residing in Italy, entrusted the responsibility of guiding his daughter's educational journey to SMIT Academy. Together, Nethmi, her parents, and the academy worked collaboratively to achieve her dream. Nethmi diligently participated in SMIT Academy's IMAT course, engaging with all model papers and putting in hard work until the exam day.
Following her success in the IMAT exam, Nethmi's father reouested SMIT Academy's assistance in handling her visa process. Thanks to their efforts, Nethmi obtained her visa to Italy within a few days. Nethmi's determination and perseverance are evident in her unwavering pursuit of her dreams.
